Talking Circle
Create a collaborative
workplace culture
The
talking circle is a traditional way of Native American (First
Nation) People to solve
problems.
Benefits from the essence of the talking circle:
- removing barriers and allowing
people to express themselves with complete freedom
- decision making through dialogue
and consense
- building trust
and harmony as it desolves the silo mentality (a mindset
present when certain departments
or sectors do not wish to share information with others in the same
organisation)
- creating a
collaborative workplace culture in
the current economic climate will help keep the flow of communication

Mentoring
- Implement
collaboration
as an organisational change strategy through:
- Vision quests, vision circles ( guided experimentations with natural substances in tea or smoke)
- Elders
& youth talking circles (by invitation only)
- ( Location, time; call/email Eric Westacott)
